Founded in 1971, Greystanes Cricket Club has become a cornerstone for cricket enthusiasts of all ages in our local community. Our club is dedicated to promoting inclusivity, teamwork, and a passion for the game in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
As a grassroots organization, Greystanes Cricket Club offers a supportive space for players to develop their skills, compete, and forge lasting friendships both on and off the field. From young juniors taking their first steps in cricket to experienced seniors seeking camaraderie and competitive play, we provide opportunities for everyone to grow and enjoy the sport.

Our Board
President - Simon Agius
Simon Agius has been a dedicated member of Greystanes Cricket Club since 1994/95, embracing more than 30 years of cricket, community spirit, and lifelong friendships. Simon has won four premierships as a player and made valuable contributions off the field through coordinating the Woolworths Cricket Blast program, coaching junior teams, and currently guiding the Stage 1 girls’ side. As a senior captain, Simon led his team to a premiership in 2019/20, with his dedication further recognised through the Senior Player of the Season award in 2023/24 and the Tom Adams Award in 2024/25. Now serving as Club President, Simon is proud to build on the strong foundations laid by past members, fostering a safe, fun, and inclusive environment, supporting all teams, and helping develop the next generation of Greystanes cricketers.
Vice President -Youssef Hakko
Youssef joined the Greystanes Cricket Club committee in the 2023/24 season and has been an active member ever since. This year, he was elected into the role of Vice President, bringing great energy and passion to supporting the club and its members.
For the past three seasons, Youssef has managed the current Under 15/2s team, where his son plays, and also helps out as the team scorer. Always willing to lend a hand, he is dedicated to helping our young players grow, enjoy their cricket, and be part of a strong community both on and off the field.
Equipment Manager - David Mandic
David Mandic started with Greystanes Cricket Club as an 8-year-old in the 1978/79 season, a love of backyard cricket inspired David to try competition cricket. David’s standout memory is winning the club’s first senior premiership in 1986 by just one run under extraordinary circumstances, playing alongside his former junior coach Ron Dunn.
Over the years David has achieved his highest score of 84, multiple five-wicket hauls including a seven-for, and has been part of eight premiership-winning teams across grades B11 to B1. He also coached two junior sides to premierships.
His service to the club includes coaching numerous teams, serving on the committee from 1996/97 to 2002/03, taking on the Vice President role from 2003/04 to 2009/10, and leading the club as President from 2010/11 through to 2024/25. IN 2004/2005 David was inducted as a life member in recognition for dedication, volunteering and commitment to the Greystanes Cricket Club.
Social Media - Ashley Clarke-Luccitti, Alicia Agius
Alicia Agius and Ashley Clark-Luccitti are the dedicated team managing Greystanes Cricket Club’s social media and community communications. As proud cricket mums—with sons, a daughter, and husbands who all represent the club—they bring both a personal connection and professional enthusiasm to their roles.
Together, they keep the Greystanes community informed and engaged by sharing timely updates, game results, player highlights, acknowledgements, and stories that showcase the spirit and values of the club. Their work strengthens the bonds between players, families, supporters, and the wider community, fostering a strong sense of belonging within the Greystanes Cricket family.
Registra - Derek Furtardo
Derek first joined the club in the 2009/2010 season and has been an active player for over 15 seasons, contributing to two premiership-winning teams. Beyond his on-field success, he has been a dedicated member off the field serving as a Coach, Volunteer, and, for the past four years, as the club’s Registrar.
Treasurer - Sean Fahy
Secretary - James Sultana
Club member and player since the 1988/89 season, with an impressive record that includes 5 premierships and 5 runners-up finishes. A Life Member of the club since 2021, James has served in multiple leadership roles including Club President, Vice President, and currently Club Secretary, as well as contributing as a committee member on numerous occasions. James has coached and assisted in coaching several junior teams and previously served on the Parramatta District Cricket Association committee. He is also the only player in club history to receive the Captain’s Award in two different grades in the same season (2003/04 B2s and C Grade).
Assistant Secretary and Grants Officer - Nidhi Garg
Cricket mum of two, boundary-cheering extraordinaire, and proud multitasker at Greystanes Cricket Club.
When she’s not running kids to training or celebrating every four and six or a wicket when your team is bowling, she’s busy keeping the club ticking along as our Assistant Secretary and Grants Officer.
With a love for community, a knack for organisation, and a soft spot for anything involving sunshine and stumps, she’s the energetic heart helping Greystanes Cricket Club thrive—one email, form, and match day at a time!
Committee Members - Wayne Earl
Wayne first played for the club in the 1980/81 season as an 8-year-old in the under 10’s he went on to play another 34 seasons with the club winning 8 premierships 3 as captain, including being part of the 2007/08 A Grade premiership. He has been a constant around the club having held the positions of Coach, Secretary, Treasurer and President and continues to this day to serve on the committee which he has been a member for over 20 years. He was made a life member of the club in 2015. Wayne has also been on the Board of the PDCA for 5 years and is currently the Judiciary Chairman.
Committee Members - Tony Bartusch
Tony Bartusch has been a dedicated member of Greystanes Cricket Club since making his debut in the 1994/95 season. Boasting over 25 seasons of experience, Tony continues to contribute as both an active player and a valued club member.
In 2017/18, Tony successfully coordinated the Woolworths Cricket Blast program, helping introduce cricket to the next generation of young players.
Since joining the committee in the 2019/20 season, Tony has played a key role in supporting the club’s growth and development, bringing his wealth of experience and passion to every aspect of his involvement.
Junior Teams Advisor - Andrew Marscham
Andrew Marscham joined Greystanes Cricket Club in 2009 and has played 12 seasons. A passionate contributor to junior cricket, Andrew has coached multiple teams and coordinated the Woolworths Cricket Blast program alongside his daughter Amy. As a qualified black-and-white umpire, he brings strong knowledge and fairness to the game. Andrew is a valued member of the GCC committee, dedicated to supporting the club’s growth and community spirit.

Senior Teams Advisor - Gary Zahra
Gary Zahra has been part of Greystanes Cricket Club for 15 straight years, making Gary one of the club’s most familiar and reliable faces. Gary is the kind of player who shows up, gets stuck in, supports his teammates, and always brings a good attitude to the game.
For the past three seasons, Gary has taken on the role of B2 captain, leading the side with a calm, steady approach. He keeps things simple: work hard, enjoy the game, and make sure everyone feels part of the team. Whether it’s organising the boys on game day or keeping spirits up during a tough session, Gary’s leadership helps set the tone for the group.
Over his time at Greystanes, Gary has built strong connections, contributed to the club’s culture, and become someone people know they can count on. With 15 years already behind him, he continues to be a committed teammate and a valued part of the Greystanes cricket community.
